Opened in 1972, Wekiva Golf Club is one of the most established courses in Central Florida. Its reputation and popularity are due to many factors: a solid course design, immaculate course conditions and desirable location within a residential community. Crafted from a wooded setting, Wekiva features many doglegs bordered by large strands of trees and no parallel fairways. Most holes are well banked with water coming into play on three holes. Its straight-forward layout is enjoyable for the recreational golfer or the low-handicapper. This is a semi-private club that welcomes outside play and features mature oaks, pines and palms, equitable undulating fairways, strategic bunkers and gentle mounding that highlights both fairways and greens.
