Walden Lake Golf & Country Club in Plant City, Florida has two premier golf courses: the Lakes and the Hills courses. The Lakes course was designed by famous golf course architect, Ron Garl. Longer than the Hills course, every inch of the 18- hole, par 72, golf course has a natural feel with serene views. In fact, the layout of each hole is designed to thrill golf enthusiasts of every level.

Ron Garl gave careful thought to the design of the fabulous course using the terrain to create a challenge. Four sets of tees can be found at each hole, so everyone can make their own memories at the Lakes course at Walden Lake Golf & Country Club. Beginners will appreciate the fact that they can play from the front tees for a total of 4,953 yards. However, the back tees will really test each player’s abilities at 6,561 yards.

The Lakes course at Walden Lake Golf & Country Club may intimidate some golfers by the name alone. Consequently, it is not a surprise when golfers encounter water hazard after water hazard. Lakes, ponds, and everything in-between will beckon each golfer’s ball. Throughout the course, accuracy becomes a golfer’s best friend. Undulating greens, plenty of trees, and sand traps will also force gofers to concentrate. The Lakes course at Walden Lake is a great way to face obstacles and improve…or else the score card will provide unwanted results for all to see.

Walden Lake Golf & Country Club has many amenities. Among the favorite features is the 27,000 square foot clubhouse. The golf pro shop, grill, snack bar, and full service bar will give golfers a chance to relax, eat a bite, sip a frothy beverage, and shop for new golfing apparel. Warm-up before a round of golf or simply practice your swing at the practice facility. It is complete with a driving range and practice greens. Gamester Golf Academy is on-site with professional golf instructors for those golfers who want a little individualized attention. From Interstate 4 take the Alexander Street exit. Go south on Alexander Street to Timberlane Drive, entrance of the Walden Lake Community. Make a right at Timberlane Drive and follow road for approximately 1 mile to Clubhouse Drive. Make a right onto Clubhouse Drive. Walden Lake Golf and Country Club will be on the left.  Get Driving directions to: 2001 Clubhouse Drive View Walden Lake Lakes Course with Google Earth.
