About Tom Creavy
Hailing from Westchester, New York, Tom has a long line of golf ancestry dating back to his great uncle, also Tom Creavy, who was victorious at the 1931 PGA Championship defeating greats like Gene Sarazen in the match-play format. The final match against Denny Shute was refereed by Bobby Jones.
Tom was introduced to the game at an early age and played in the US Junior Amateur, the US Amateur, and several other events on the national level. After graduating from Stetson University in May of 1992, with a degree in Finance, Tom continued his pursuit of a career in the golf industry. Tom was the Player of the Year in the Trans-America Athletic Conference in 1992 and in 1993 defeated Tiger Woods 3 & 2 en route to a victory in the Monroe Invitational Championship in Rochester, NY.
As the Director of Instruction at MetroWest GC, Tom enjoys instructing players of all abilities and has developed one of the best Orlando golf schools. Tom has been a resident of Orlando since graduating from Stetson University. He is very involved with the Orlando community and is married Leigh Anne Hardin, a former Duke University All-American.
