About Steve Wakulsky Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Steve Wakulsky began playing golf at an early age. He was a top junior player and received a golf scholarship to Eastern Michigan University where he played and graduated with a B.S. degree in education in 1985. Upon completion of his studies, he continued to pursue his dream of playing professional golf by moving to Florida and taking instruction from David Leadbetter. With his game steadily improving, he turned professional and competed on various mini-tours and in professional events. During this time, Steve discovered a new passion: the mechanics of the golf swing. In an effort to further explore this element of the game, Steve began his career as a teaching professional working for David Leadbetter in Orlando, Florida in 1990. He assisted and trained alongside David and became one of his teaching professionals during that year.
