There are 1,400 fun-filled acres at Orange Lake Resorts in Orlando, Florida. Amongst the pools, tennis courts, and water sports, there are four golf courses that will draw golfers of all ability levels. However, golfers return again and again to Legends Walk. In 1998, Arnold Palmer and Palmer Course Design Company designed the 9-hole course with five sets of tees and, since its opening, Legends Walk has served the golfing community well. For those just starting out with the game of golf, the front tees are only 953 yards; yet, those who want a greater challenge will find the back tees to be a worthwhile feat at 1,581 yards.
Although it is a 9-hole golf course, the design of Legends Walk golf course at Orange Lake Resorts offers plenty of thrills. While golfers are walking the course, they will notice fairways that take advantage of the natural lay of the land and seem to roll endlessly. The water features are numerous and can test even the most skilled golfers. The greens and tee boxes, like the rest of the course, are well-maintained. Golfers will encounter plenty of trees and sand traps as they try to pass these obstacles without racking up points on their scorecards. One of the best features of Legends Walk is the opportunity to book a tee time at night.
Golfers and their families will find so much to do at Orange Lake Resorts in Orlando. It is clear that the golf is supreme; but, there is much more, as well. Close to the Legends Walk golf course, guests will find tennis courts, basketball courts, and Splash Lagoon. Splash Lagoon will provide unlimited fun with its pools and water slide. In addition, the 80-acre lake is action-packed on its own. Take the jet skis out for a whirl, spend some time water-skiing, or just grab some rays while lounging on the lakeside beach. In addition, Orange Lake Resorts in Orlando is near to Walt Disney World Resorts, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios – for those who want to visit some of America’s favorite tourist attractions.
Beyond the abundant amenities already mentioned, Legends Walk at Orange Lake in Orlando has plenty of on-site amenities. There is a fully stocked pro shop and a nationally ranked golf school, McCord’s Golf Academy. Many golfers will love the fact that McCord has been ranked nationally as a top instructor, as well. The restaurants are numerous at Orange Lake and there is even a fitness center for those who want to work off the extra calories.
