A fabulous new golf course has entered the scene in Central Florida, Juliette Falls – Golf and Spa Community. The Juliette Falls course was designed by internationally renowned golf course architect, John Sanford. Sanford used his expertise to create a romantic, challenging, and thoroughly enjoyable golf course. Juliette Falls is also recognized as an Audubon International Silver Sanctuary and has a 136 acre Nature Preserve and Wildlife Conservation Area with 5 miles of groomed trails for hiking, biking, exercise and wild life viewing. This is truly an unique place, cut out of the heart of old Florida. Words cannot do it justice... you have to see it to believe it!
The 7,239 yard course has had golfers talking. Every green and fairway is beautifully designed and strategically placed. Golfers will find rolling fairways, well-manicured greens, elevation changes, and forests thick with oak, pines and palmettos. There are four breath-taking waterfalls and sparkling white sand bunkers. Juliette Falls also has 25 unique acres of crushed pink cocina shells which comprise the course’s waste areas. The landscaping is awe-inspiring. Unlike many courses in Central Florida, weather will never hold you back, since there are no problems with drainage, wetlands, or clay. With the tropical feel and challenging play of the course at Juliette Falls, it is no surprise that Golf Magazine has placed it among the top 10 new golf courses you can play. Also, several prestigious tournaments, such as the Pro Am, are held at Juliette Falls each year.
Juliette Falls is located in Dunnellon, Florida near Ocala in Central Florida. Dunnellon is home to antique shops and great restaurants. Ocala, the largest neighboring town, is located approximately one hour north of Orlando, Florida, where visitors can find Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, MGM and Universal Studios and about 30 minutes south of Gainesville, home of the University of Florida Gators. Orlando is one of America’s favorite tourist destinations.
The amenities are plenty at Juliette Falls. Golfers will find a practice facility that encompasses 10 acres, professional golf instructors, a pro shop, and a fleet of golf carts (feel free to use your own if you have one though). The 7,400 square-foot Phase I Clubhouse is also houses Romeo's Restaurant, a private meeting room, and a sports bar. Golfers will be excited to learn that the 52,000 square-foot Main Community Clubhouse will soon be constructed with a sports bar, an attached media room, a poolside grill, a world class spa and fitness center, three restaurants, a snack bar, golf operations center and full banquet facility.
