The beautiful 18-hole golf course was designed in 1991 by the Clifton, Ezell & Clifton team of golf course architects. The golf course at the Country Club of Mount Dora is a mere 6,571 yards from the back tees; but, that should not lull golfers into a false sense of security - there are plenty of obstacles throughout the course. For instance, water is a factor on a whopping 16 of the 18 holes and sand traps are everywhere. As a result, golfers are forced to strategize and focus on their shots. The fairways are narrow and are lined with pine trees and the greens are elevated. The Country Club of Mount Dora has so much to offer; yet, it is reasonably priced. A great golf course and a great deal!
